Marnino Toussaint, a South Florida-based Spoken Word/Hip-Hop artist and Youth Engagement Coordinator with the Jason Taylor Foundation's Omari Hardwick bluapple Poetry Network.

As an educator, Marnino teaches poetry writing and performance in schools throughout the South Florida region. Additionally he is instrumental in the day-to-day operations of the bluapple Program, which works with students from Homestead to Jacksonville and beyond.

As an artist, Mr. Toussaint has been on the stages of Tedx Miami, Broward 100's Duende!, and has worked alongside the likes of actors Omari Hardwick and Victoria Justice, author Mary Pope Osborne and has opened for Hip Hop legend, Chuck D. He has also had the opportunity to write and perform in promotional poetry videos for the Miami Dolphins and Homestead Miami Speedway and works tirelessly to spread his passion for music, and the written word to all he encounters.

Seahawk music festival

The Seahawk Festival will culminate in a concert headlined by Grammy Award-winning performing artist Wyclef Jean, and performances by Marnino Toussaint, plus special guests Walshy Fire who is a current member of Major Lazer, and Miami native IRIE. Tickets are $15 per person for Broward College students and $25 per person for the general public. VIP tickets are $50 per person and include an enclosed area, seating near the stage, two beverage vouchers (beer, wine, or soft drinks), and a Meet & Greet with a performing artist. Concert gates open at 6:00 p.m. and entertainment begins at 7 p.m.


Spring music festival

Saturday, March 31, 2018, Marnino will be sharing a performance with the city of Tampa. This is a Non-Alcoholic / Family Friendly Event, with Food Trucks & Craft Vendors and featured talented vocalists from the Tampa Bay Metro Region.

The VoiceBox

The VoiceBox is a open mic BY TEENS, FOR TEENS hosted by Marnino through the Omari Hardwick Bluapple Poetry Network. 

  • The VoiceBox is held on the fourth Friday of every month.
  • 7p – 9p (Performers must arrive early to sign up.)
  • 1350 E. Sunrise Blvd. Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304.
  • It is a CLEAN MIC: No Profanity. NO sexually-explicit content. NO racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, or otherwise degrading material allowed.
